Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other sacraments.

Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as children of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission:

"Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word."

13-17 years

Are you interested in becoming Catholic? The process for becoming Catholic is called the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), which is our formation process for adults who:

Have never been baptized.
Catholics who were baptized but have not celebrated all of their Sacraments of Initiation (Eucharist and Confirmation).
Those baptized in another Christian faith tradition who may be interested in becoming a Catholic.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults generally starts in September each year.
