"Jesus came up and spoke to the eleven disciples. He said: All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptize in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teach them to observe all the commandments I gave you, and know that I am with you always—yes, to the end of time."
Matthew 28:18-20
Baptism is the first and most important sacrament in the Catholic Church. Through Baptism, we are freed of sin and reborn as children of God. This marks the beginning of our life of faith and by being baptised, we are welcomed into God’s family - we begin the journey of getting to know and understand the meaning of God’s love.
